In August 1976, the so-called fifteen pioneers used to call for caucus. During the time of its formalization, there were 70 members who had participated in the activity called share capital contribution and such an undertaking resulted in the accumulation of share capital which amounted to PHP 7,000.
Recorded as a “Full Pledge” cooperative with 250 members under its new name, NVCCI or Novaliches Vendors Credit Cooperative Inc. Also the membership base rapidly expanded during the time when the cooperative had been formalized as a full-pledge cooperative, as the number of members increased from 70 to 250 members which resulted in the increment of paid-up share capital of PHP 119,783.00.
The totality of members increased from 250 to 952. Such an increment in the membership base also augments to almost one million asset size.
The NOVADECI start of the Damayan program, a mutual aid and financial assistance initiative for members.
From 989 members in 1987, the Cooperative was able to successfully re-escalate its membership base to a total of 1,058 members as of 1988 due to the robust intervention called Pre-membership seminar.
Also NOVADECI built the first own building in Novaliches.
In pursuit of the community to avail the beneficial services offered by NOVADECI, people have expressed their willingness to participate through their membership which resulted in having 1,477 members in 1990.
NOVADECI starts NOVADECI Health Care Program and Medical Clinic began as a proactive initiative to provide members with accessible, reliable, and community-centered medical services. This milestone marked NOVADECI’s commitment to promoting wellness, preventive care, and a healthier future for every member.
Finally, the Cooperative has attained a significant milestone of hitting the 6,034 membership base.
NOVADECI worked toward establishing a Housing Program that aims to provide members with affordable, secure, and sustainable housing opportunities—strengthening NOVADECI’s mission to support the overall well-being and long-term stability of its community.
In 2008, NOVADECI was able to attain its First billion in terms of asset size which amounted to 1,136,876,352.
With the continual success of NOVADECI in addressing and filling the needs of its members and the community they are in, they were able to set a good reputation which enabled the membership base to be expanded to 27,960.
With the outstanding operation of NOVADECI in the catering of both financial and non-financial services, they were able to finally reach a total of 30,176 members in 2012.
NOVADECI purchased a lot along General Luis to build its own Convention Center—marking a major step toward creating a dedicated venue for assemblies, trainings, and community events, and further enhancing services for its growing membership.
Amended its by-laws to allow Luzon-wide operations, expanding NOVADECI’s reach and enabling more communities across the region to benefit from its cooperative services and programs.
During the height of COVID-19 pandemic, NOVADECI was able to commendably expand its membership base to 45,765 members.
The organization was able to reach 46,433 members in total at the end of 2022.
Also inaugurated and blessed the new NOVADECI Convention Center.
